"Charlie has always said "I draw what I see." He started drawing the week his grandmother moved in from Champaign, Illinois with his family. He was ten years old at the time. His Alzheimer's care taking journey began in 2013. Charlie would sit in his grandmother's room for hours and draw to keep her company. She mostly ignored him or slept. We strongly believe there is a reason for everything - good can come out of bad. ♡ "

"This is my first attempt at Manga drawing. I watched a video by Sophie Chan. I try to draw every day. I draw people I see, pictures I like and it's cool to try different styles of paper, pencils and pens. We put up this site so that I could show my artwork, see how it looks on a computer and learn about the web. I hope to make my own YouTube channel someday to teach kids how to draw - everyone can learn." - Charlie P
